Welcome!
Welcome to the AHS Alliance YouTube blog, the place where anthropology students and media students at Olin College enter into a dialogue about YouTube and its significance in contemporary society. Because of time constraints, students are asked to exchange their ideas about YouTube in this space. The available links to the videos created in class on 11/12/12 are posted here. Please consider the following questions when leaving your comments:
- Compare/contrast how people in the class have reacted to the same material. Can you see a common thread? How would you characterize the entire batch?
-What surprised you (and why)?
- What differences (if any) did you see in how the anthropology students and the media students approached the topic?
We look forward to reading your responses to the YouTube phenomenon!
Your fearless leaders,
Caitrin and Maruta
